Singer - Actress - Designer - Writer

Humble as ever but aware of my value. So make it happen girl, shock everyone.

About Me

Hey y'all!

I am a born and raised Texan who has recently planted herself in New York City. I am a recent graduate from TCU where I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre. Above all else I am a musical theatre actress but I also have a few other passions. I enjoy costume design, writing (mostly poetry) as well as work centered around intersectional womanism. I am an incredibly dedicated performer but also an incredibly passionate person who has the desire to work hard, share joy and live life. And I believe that none of this is possible without a dream. Always follow your dreams.

Whats up next for Tasia Jewel?

As an artist with a variety of different skills and talents, I am always keeping busy and expressing myself through my art. Be sure to check out some of my most recent projects in performance, and costume design.

As a musical theatre actress I am able to portray a wide variety of different characters which makes every project new and exciting to work on. Some of my favorite roles include Rusty in Footloose, Danielle in Bring It On and Tanya in Bare. A MAJOR dream role of mine would definitely have to be Horatio in Hamlet.

Costume design by Tasia Jewel

Although costume design is something that is fairly new to me, I want to pursue this full time alongside my performance career. My first costume design project was working as the assistant costume designer on Bare, a show that I was also performing in. This experience was unlike anything else I've ever done before. I designed over thirty costumes on my own and assisted with all other costume aspects of the show. I am looking forward to more costume design experiences in the near future.
